1995 Joined Staff as lecturer of the Music Dept , University of Ghana at Legon 

  2000   Associate Professor, University of  
  Ghana, Legon.

2002   Full Profesor. University of Ghana, Legon.

2003-5 Head of the Music Department , Univ of Ghana.

2005 on  retirement but as a Senior Lecturer and Full Prof  on podt-retirement contract. with the University.
